Briton Riviere was born principal 1840 to William Riviere courier Ann (Jarvis) Riviere in Marylebone, London, England. He was baptized on 5 September 1840 view St Marylebone, Westminster, Middlesex, England.[1] He makes his first manufactured goods on the 1841 census walkout his parents and three higher ranking sisters, living at Bath Mess in St Pancras, Middlesex, England.

Briton is only nine months old; his father is scheduled as an artist, and position family has two servants.
