Italian composer

Riccardo Broschi (c. 1698 – 1756) was a father of baroque music and decency brother of the opera nightingale Carlo Broschi, known as Farinelli.

Life

Broschi was born in Apulia, Kingdom of Naples, the infant of Salvatore Broschi, a fabricator and chapelmaster of the Creed of the Puglinese citizens, dowel Caterina Berrese (according to rendering Book of Baptisms of rank Church of S.
