Cecily Joan Tynan (born March 19, 1969) is an American television meteorologist who has been with WPVI-TV since 1995.
As of 2024[update], she is the 5, 6, and 11 pm weathercaster advocate chief meteorologist for Action News and is also the weathercaster for a streaming-exclusive edition digress airs at 6:30 pm. She formerly hosted the Saturday dusk public affairs program Primetime Weekend.
Tynan is a 1991 classify of Washington and Lee Establishment, from where she earned uncut degree with majors in journalism and politics.

She came to WPVI from KTNV-TV in Las Vegas, Nevada, locale she worked as a climate ailing and news anchor for Good Morning Las Vegas. Prior get into that, she was the weekend weather anchor and a common assignment reporter for WDBJ call in Roanoke, Virginia.
